- A basic salary of Rs 19,900 per year will increase each year by Rs 1000
- Upon completion of 3 years, the pay will be Rs 20,900, increasing by Rs 1230 annually.
- In the next three years, the basic pay will be set at 24,590 with a yearly increment of 1490 being added each year.
- Upon reaching the end of the 4 year period, an increase of Rs 1730 will be made every year.
- The basic pay will increase to Rs 42,600 after 7 years of service, with an annual increase of Rs 3270 awarded every year.
- After the next year, the pay after one year will be Rs 45,930 with an annual increase of Rs 1990.
- The pay after the next year will be Rs 47,920 (Maximum Basic Pay for the next year).

Other Allowances of IBPS Clerk Salaries

- Allowance for Dearness: As a percentage of Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance makes up 4%. Every three months, DA is revised according to the CPI.

Promotions for IBPS Clerks
Employee Type: Employees can be clerks, executives, managers, senior managers, or assistants. A manager, a deputy manager, and a general manager.
IBPS Clerks earn a good salary, have a stable job, and can grow in the banking industry. Promotions and growth are quite attractive based on performance. Two years of service is required for promotions. Once every two years, IBPS Clerks get promoted.
Two processes are used for promotions:
- i- Normal process- Through this process, candidates don’t need JAIIB and CAIIB diplomas. In the case of IBPS Clerks, an internal written exam will be conducted. A clerk completing the written exam becomes a trainee officer and then a probationary officer.
- ii- An application process based on merit- Candidates must hold a JAIIB or CAIIB diploma from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance to be considered for this process.
